Deze uitspraak van Willem Kloos is mij uit het hart gegrepen; het is de mens zelf die afstand schept tussen zichzelf
en zijn beeld-van-God. Noodgedwongen leeft de mens met een evoluerend subjectief Godsbeeld, totdat het besef
doordringt dat dàt het enige is wat hij ooit over God te weten kan komen, namelijk datgene wat hem in zijn bewustzijn
wordt onthuld. De visioenen van de heilig verklaarden, het optreden van Jezus, zijn demonstraties om de mens tot het
inzicht te brengen dat hij een geestelijk wezen is dat in het leven is geroepen om zijn ware aard, ’God’, te leren kennen.
Niet alleen is God Arjuna in het wereldbeeld van de Hindoes, maar omgekeerd is Arjuna Shri Krishna in een stadium van
ontwikkeling. Dit besef is geen hoogmoed maar erkenning van de Eeuwige Almacht, die de mens heeft voorbestemd om
het ‘Koninkrijk’ met Hem te delen op voet van gelijkwaardigheid. (04-06-2017)
IM P E R S O N A L G O D
When the concept of God is no longer associated with an individual like Krishna, Jesus or Allah, we are left with the
impersonal Spirit. Presumably this is an aspect of God or the Trinity – Father, Son, Holy Spirit – , but the only acceptable
one for someone who has passed through the conventional channels. Even so it is hard to relate to an ever present but
invisible ‘Friend’, who happens to be the very core of one’s existence. Still it is the best way and perhaps the only one to
divulge the permanent companionship of the everlasting God-Almighty. This is true for all of Creation, the outer
appearances being just a cover-up for the One-and- Only. All our checking up of so-called ‘material evidence’ will lead to
the same conclusion: the outer appearance is a temporary show of its inner life, brought into visibility by projection.
Somehow there must be another scenario of cosmological proportions which makes sense of this colossal and enduring
theater, responsible for so much heart-ache and enjoyment too. Making people believe in a separate existence away from
their true Self is heart rending and asks for immediate healing. Nevertheless it will probably take at least one life time to
